About us

Tamiranashe Trust

Tamiranashe is a registered organisation; registration number - 0001287/2016. The initiative was founded in 2016 in Norton, Zimbabwe after observing that the respective community of Norton had many children and women who were excluded from accessing basic education due to many socio-economic problems moreover, our survey revealed that there are many children who need encouragement to rekindle their educational dream after having lost it. It provides a meaningful education to underprivileged.

Advocacy

We advocate for the rights of marginalized individuals and seek government support to address their needs.

We provide educational support, including scholarships and literacy programs, to empower vulnerable children.

We work with vulnerable households to improve livelihoods and financial resilience.

We offer education and sanitary pads to promote sexual and reproductive health.

Working to achieve peace building to all children and families. We encourage our students to maintain peace on line and offline, in homes and all the communities and we encourage them to stop violence.

08 Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

We respond to gender-based violence by providing shelter, economic support, and advocating against early marriages.

09 Climate Change

Climate change is a global problem. Students from tender ages need to be aware of the causes of climate change and effects so that they can help to reduce the effects.

Tamiranashe Women's College

At Tamiranashe Women's College, women are acquiring valuable skills for self-sufficiency, and in response to the rising cost of living, we are empowering them to create essential products using readily available resources. Additionally, we welcome men to join our initiative, as we believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
